Makes sense, this IS cold and flu season.  This season is complicated by the presence of not only of colds and influenza, but also COVID and RSV (for kids).  The good news is that, with a little tender loving care (including plenty of fluids, rest, Tylenol® (acetaminophen) and / or Advil® (ibuprofen) and proper isolation) you should recover just fine.
